Travel Shirt Week! This was the only souvenir my lovely wife specifically requested from my trip to Texas - the "Keep Austin Weird" shirt she never had during her time as an Austinite. (Austonian? Austerling? Who knows.)

I think the best commentary on "Keep Austin Weird" was the episode of Jonah Ray's Hidden America where the method of keeping Austin weird was finding the insufficiently non-weird on the streets, giving them a savage beating, and then dumping them at the edge of town with a warning not to come back.

Anwyay, sorry, Austin, you're not that weird. You are definitely an awesome place to live and to visit. But I did not see a single lesbian left-handed albino midget abducting children on my whole trip, and that is the minimum threshold you need to cross for weridness.
