...it makes it all the more delicious when life crushes them.

There was a brief period last year when the Pittsburgh Pirates had a winning record. A really, really brief period. But what a period it was. Things were just better then. The sune shone every day. Women and children were laughing in the streets. Folks were frendlier. Smiles were smilier. Oh, and Commonwealth Press somehow managed to release this incredibly awesome shirt while it was still relevant. Good times. Of course, it all ended in flames and death. But good times while it lasted.

These days the shirt serves less as a reminder of happier times, and more as a reminder for our hopes and dreams for the future.

Or maybe it's just a really nice shirt.
