You Know What Today Is...

...pitchers and catchers report!

What, you were expecting some sort of hot-pink love tee with a sparkly heart? I don't think I have any of those in my wardrobe.

Here's my favorite Randy Johnson story. In 2001, when he was pitching for the D'Backs, Bayani and I saw him pitch a masterful game against the Pirates. He struck out sixteen batters in seven innings and became the first pitcher to rack up 300 strikeouts in four consecutive seasons.

He also lost the game. Gave up a walk to Kendall and a homer to Young, which was all the Pirates needed. That was awesome.
