Book cover design for Jenn Thorson's humorous science fiction novel There Goes The Galaxy, in which the Earth is seized by mysterious (if somewhat goofy) alien overloards. To avoid literally depicting the events or characters of the novel, Saul Bass-style grasping hands were chosen to suggest the nature of the threat, while the addition of a watch to one of the arms helped to lighten the mood and suggest this was a humor novel.
